Billie D Duart

Billie D Duart was raised in Strawberry Point and a member of the Army. He was trained as a Heavy Vehicle Drive before deploying to Vietnam in July 1971. PFC Duart drowned to death on August 25, 1971 while swimming in a pool near Pleiku, South Vietnam. He was 19 years old at the time of his death. A funeral was held at the Delhi Methodist Church and his body was buried at the Delhi Evergreen Cemetery.
