Biography:
Carl Richard Foster grew up in Davenport and attended school there. He enlisted in the Army in 1968 and arrived in Vietnam on May 24th. He served in E Company, 1st Battalion, 7th Cavalry. Specialist 4th Class Foster was killed by a booby trap while on patrol in Thua Thien Province. He was buried in Memorial Cemetery in Davenport.
