Carroll Paul Oneill

Carroll O’Neill grew up in the Sioux City area and enlisted in the Army after high school. His tour in Vietnam began June 29, 1968 where he was part of the 2nd Battalion, 12th Cavalry in Tay Ninh Province. On February 9th while on a combat operation, he was killed by hostile fire. Specialist 4th Class O’Neill was married and was buried in the Calvary Cemetery in Sioux City.
