David Henry Johnson

David Henry Johnson of Eldorado attended school in West Union and worked at the local service station. He was drafted into the Army. He began his tour in Vietnam on November 13, 1969. SP4 Johnson was stationed in the Thua Thien Province as a helicopter mechanic when he died from a heart attack. He had been in Vietnam for three months. A funeral service and burial took place at First Lutheran Church and Cemetery near West Union. He was 20 years old at the time of his death.
