Dennis Allen Haines

Dennis A. Haines grew up in Sioux City in a working class neighborhood. He entered the Army and served with E Company, 2nd Battalion, 14th Infantry commonly known as the “Golden Dragons”. He was based in Hua Nghia Province when he began his tour in August 1969. On February 3rd Specialist 4th Class Haines was killed by small arms fire while on patrol near Ba Xa. There is no gravesite record for his non-cemetery burial.
