Dennis James Yetmar

Dennis James Yetmar from Clare enlisted in the Army on September 27, 1967. Private First Class Yetmar began his tour on March 9, 1968 as an Army Infantryman with the 2nd Battalion, 22nd Infantry as a Light Weapons Infantry Specialist. He died one month later on April 12, 1968 from wounds received in a hostile force firefight during a combat operation in Tay Ninh Province, South Vietnam. He was buried in St. James Cemetery in Clare, Iowa.
