Biography:
Dennis Ray Jensen grew up in a close knit neighborhood spending time with friends in Boy Scouts, dancing classes, roaming Bayliss Park and walking to school. After high school he entered the Army in January 1967 and trained as a medical corpsman. He served with the 3rd Squadron, 4th Cavalry in Hua Nghia Province. On March 5th he was traveling in an armored personnel carrier near the Trang Bang River bridge when the APC hit a mine. Private First Class Jensen and two others were killed. He was buried in Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Council Bluffs.
