Donald Louis Fleetwood

Donald Louis Fleetwood was from Davenport, IA. While in school, Fleetwood was involved with the local Junior Achievement program. After high school, he was drafted in to the Army. He eventually earned the rank of Private First Class. PFC Fleetwood started his tour in September 1967. He served as an Infantryman in the First Cavalry Division. On December 10, 1967 PFC Fleetwood was killed during a firefight in Binh Dinh Province, South Vietnam. He was 20 years old at the time of his death. PFC Fleetwood’s body was buried at Rock Island National Cemetery near Rock Island, IL.
