Donald Paul Kremer

Donald Paul Kremer of Aurora was a graduate of East Buchanan High School in the class of 1966. He enlisted in the Marine Corps and served with the 1st Marine Division as a rifleman. PFC Kremer began his tour in Vietnam in September 1968 and was killed three months later on December 2, 1968. He suffered fatal wounds from enemy forces while on patrol near Quang Nam. PFC Kremer was buried at Saint Patrick’s Cemetery in Winthrop. He was 20 years old at the time of his death.
