Ernest Leroy Ramsey

Ernest Ramsey was born in Plano in Appanoose County. He was trained as a communication circuit controller and served with the 361 Signal Battalion, 1st Signal Brigade in Binh Dinh Province. His tour in Vietnam began on December 5th, 1969. Sergeant First Class Ramsey’s died from non-hostile, self-inflicted action. He was buried in Ft. Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso, Texas.
