John Micheal Reilly

John Michael Reilly of Fairfax was drafted into the Army in March 1969 and began his tour in Vietnam in August 1969. PFC Reilly died from wounds he suffered on New Year’s Day of 1970. His unit was attacked while in a defensive position near Chu Lai. His body was buried at St. John’s Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. He was 20 year old at the time of his death.
