Biography:
Kenneth Stubblefield was born in Illinois but lived in Clinton. He joined the Army in 1965 and served as a “tough” drill sergeant for a time. He departed for a tour in Vietnam on September 26, 1967. He was based in Nua Nghia with 1st Battalion, 27th Infantry known as the Wolfhounds. Platoon Sergeant was killed December 13th while on operations. He was married with two sons and was buried in Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
