Biography:
Keven Goodno grew up on a farm near Dorchester along the Iowa-Minnesota state line. He attended country schools in Winneshiek County and graduated from Spring Grove High School in Minnesota. He attended Coleman Technical Institute in LaCrosse Wisconsin before enlisting in the Army in September 1964. In December 1967 he reenlisted and started his tour in Vietnam in May 1968. Staff Sergeant Goodno was killed when the helicopter he was riding in as an observer was hit by a mine explosion and crashed. He was buried in Wilmington Cemetery in Houston, Minnesota.
