Biography:
Larry H. Johnson grew up in Boone and Decorah. He entered the Army in 1968 and his tour in Vietnam began April 1969 with the 1st Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry. Sergeant Johnson was killed on July 6, 1969 as a result of a vehicle crash. He was buried in Washington Prairie Cemetery in Winneshiek County.
