Steven Harold Adams

Steven H. Adams of Spencer was declared missing in action on October 16, 1966. Adams was a member of an elite rescue team in the United States Air Force. Following a rescue mission off the China coast, in the Gulf of Tonkin, air traffic control lost contact with the Grumman HU-16 Albatross Adams he was aboard. Neither the aircraft nor crewmen were located despite extensive search patrols.
