Biography:
Terry William Foreman grew up in Kansas City, MO and attended Texas Tech. After college he moved to Fort Madison and married a local girl. Foreman was drafted by the Army in February 1969 and was sent to Vietnam in July of the same year. SGT Foreman served with the 3rd Battalion in the 101st Airborne Division. He completed ten months of his tour before he was killed on May 24, 1970. SGT Foreman’s unit was in a nighttime defensive position when they were struck my enemy mortar fire. He received multiple fatal fragmentation wounds. The 22-year-old’s body was returned to the United States and buried at the Green Lawn Cemetery in Rich Hill, MO.
