Timothy Lee Green

Timothy Green grew up in Fort Dodge and attended school there. Upon entering the Army he trained in the artillery. His tour in Vietnam began July 5, 1969 with C Battery, 3rd Battalion, 82nd Artillery in Quang Tin Province. He was killed on May 7, 1970 when his base camp, LZ Siberia, was hit with rockets. Sergeant Green was buried in the Fort Dodge Memorial Park.
