Biography:
William Cason grew up in Ida Grove where his parents operated a propane gas distributorship. William attended school there until the family moved to Colorado in 1957. He joined the Army in 1966 and served with the 1st Battalion, 502nd Infantry of the 101st Airborne. He was killed during operations in Binh Duong Province on his 21st birthday, December 27th. Private First Class Cason was buried in Memorial Park in Kansas City, Missouri.
